Louis "Lou" Acri
Louis G. Acri “Lou” as he was known passed away on June 26, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune with his loving wife and daughters by his side. He was 64 years old. Lou was born in St. Albans, NY and was raised in Yonkers. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business & Finance. He had a natural talent in manufacturing environments which enabled him to make companies thrive through innovation and new processes. In addition, Lou was a long time agent with Coldwell Banker and was recently honored with a Coldwell Banker fund raising event. He was a communicant of St. Rose Church, Belmar where he was Head Usher. In his spare time, Lou enjoyed playing golf, working out in the gym but he truly loved playing basketball with his buddies for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his Grandson, Louie. Lou always had a smile on his face and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Lou was predeceased by his father Louis A. Acri in 1981. He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years Linda (Annunziato) Acri , his two loving daughters Cristina Acri and Nicole Acri all of Wall. Lou is also survived by his Mother Anna Acri of Yonkers, NY, his sister Diane Smaldon and her husband Steve Smaldon of Long Island, NY and his cherished and beloved grandson Louie.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Orendeer Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan.
