Obituary for Kyle Edward Janeczek

Print
Our beloved Kyle Edward Janeczek, 25 years old, passed away at his home in Vermont last Tuesday night while attending Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Kyle was born on June 30, 1993 in Passaic, NJ. He is the son of Ray and Lynn (nee Post) Janeczek. Kyle grew up in Wall, New Jersey.

Kyle attended Wall High School where he was a star football player and 1,000 point scorer in basketball. Kyle went on to attend The College of New Jersey where he majored in Health and Exercise Science. He was also a member of the varsity football team at TCNJ. Kyle’s passion in life was helping others which is why he went on to pursue a career as a cardiac surgeon at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. Kyle chose this specific specialization because he had a rare heart condition and dreamed of helping others in ways that doctors helped him.

To know Kyle was to love Kyle. Whether he was playing guitar, saving lives on the beach, or loving his family, he excelled at absolutely everything he did. The uncanny ability to charm and make any person feel important came naturally to him. You could often find Kyle talking compassionately to a stranger for hours, all while relentlessly supporting the ones he loved. Although he was such an extraordinary person, he was immensely humble. Kyle was truly a bright light to all those who knew him.

Kyle was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents Edward and Bertha Janeczek, maternal grandfather Thomas Post, and Uncle Robert Janeczek. He is survived by his parents Raymond and Lynn Janeczek; maternal grandmother Sue Post; siblings Kyra, Ryan, and RJ Janeczek; Aunt Diane & Uncle John; Aunt Gail; Uncle Walter & Aunt Jeannie; Uncle Edward & Aunt Sue; Aunt Kathi & Uncle David; Aunt Carolyn & Uncle Tom; Aunt Meghan & Uncle Nathan; and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday October 22, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Tuesday October 23, 2018 at St Denis Beach Chapel 544 E Main Street Manasquan, NJ. Interment to follow at St Anne Cemetery, Wall.
