John Joseph Tirpak III, 77, of Manasquan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newark, NJ on July 26, 1941. John attended Seton Hall Prep and went on to graduate college from Seton Hall University. He was inducted into the Seton Hall Prep Hall of Fame on three different occasions - as an individual, and team members of both the football and track & field teams. John was a very successful salesman in the health and beauty industry for Richardson-Vicks and Procter & Gamble for over 30 years. In 1985 he received the National Sales Representative of The Year Award and was promoted to West Coast District Manager.

John's career took him from Lincroft to San Francisco, CA back to Holmdel and finally his retirement at Four Seasons in Manasquan. There he was a member of the Investment Club and coordinated and played bocce. He was an involved parishioner of St. Mary's in Colts Neck where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, usher and participated in many variety shows.He enjoyed following the stock market, was a die hard New York Yankees and Giants fan, and loved to travel the world.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John II and Dorothy Tirpak, and brother Robert Tirpak. John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Geraldine Domingo Tirpak; his daughter, Sharon Collins and her husband Sean Collins; his son John Tirpak IV and his wife Catherine Tirpak; his grandchildren Caroline, Ryan, John V (Jack), Skylar, and Ariana. He is also survived by his sister Janet Ortense and many nieces and nephews. John will be remembered for his strength, generosity, deep commitment to his faith, and extraordinary love for his family.
Family, friends and others whose lives John touched are invited to attend a visitation Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Martha's Roman Catholic Church, 3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant Beach.
