Beverly J Brandell (nee Fisher) 83 of Brielle NJ (formally Bloomfield NJ) passed away peacefully on January 1st surrounded by her family at home. Born and raised in Bloomfield, she was a varsity cheerleader, national honor society member and BHS class of 1953 graduate. She attended William Patterson College and then graduated from Katharine Gibbs School. She was a legal assistant before finishing her career at North Junior High School as an administrative assistant for 25 plus years. Beverly celebrated 63 years of marriage in November to her high school sweetheart Roger. She enjoyed golfing with Roger, crocheting, reading and competitive bridge. Though rheumatoid arthritis reduced her mobility, her passion for the beach with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren never wavered.

Her husband Roger Albert survives Mrs. Brandell; four children: Thomas of Little Falls NJ, Martha Barrett (husband Steve) of Bridgewater NJ, Karen Rankin of Bradenton FL, and Michael (wife Deborah) of Glen Ridge NJ. Ten grandchildren: Kevin Brandell, William Hamilton IV (wife Jessica), Christopher Brandell, Joseph Hamilton (wife Erin), Nicholas Brandell, Erica Rankin, Robert Brandell, Davis Brandell, step grandchildren: Stephanie Milks (husband Eric), Michele Ross (husband Scott). Three great-grandchildren Brock Borlenghi, Greyson Hamilton, and Paxton Milks. Siblings; Sister Doris Foster (husband Robert) and brother Harry Fisher (wife Sally).

Visitation will be Saturday, January 12 from 1:00- 3:00 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan NJ.
In lieu of flowers and to celebrate Beverly’s life, consider making a donation to Brielle EMS, 710 Old Bridge Rd, Brielle, NJ 08730.

I grew up 3 doors down from Mrs. Brandell. She was such a good neighbor, she had a great sense of humor...always smiling or laughing. My condolences to Mr. Brandell, Tommy, Martha, Karen and Michael. Love, Ellen

Beverly’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Our sympathies go out to the family of Mrs. Brandell. We have great memories of her. I have known her for over 55 years since Martha and I went to kindergarten. She has always treated me like family. She had my back a lot in North Junior and made me the best pancakes for breakfast after prom. Hold on to all those wonderful memories. Love to all, Kathy and Tommy
