Obituary for Robert Edward De Petro

Robert E. De Petro Sr., Age 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4th, 2019, at his home in Brick Twp. He was born in Passaic on July 10th, 1946. Robert was raised in Spring Lake and later moved to Brick where he has been a long time resident. Robert was a graduate of Manasquan High School and attended Biscayne College in Florida. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy where he served for four years during Vietnam as a 2nd Class Officer. During his life, Robert was an active member of the South Monmouth community where he was an admired real estate broker and principal in De Petro Associates Real Estate Agency. He was a member of the South Monmouth Board of Realtors, the Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis, and many other organizations. Robert was most proud of his family and was a fun loving companion, brother, father, and grandfather. Robert's love of his family and animals set him apart. He enjoyed spur of the moment vacations and driving just about anywhere his car could get him.

Robert is pre-deceased by his father, Anthony George De Petro; his mother, Elsie De Petro. He is survived by his loving companion, Nancy Antonsen; his brother, Richard De Petro; his sister, Toni De Petro; his children, Robert E. De Petro Jr., Philip A. De Petro, Aimee D'Aloia; their spouses, Alison De Petro, Liz Durzy, and Richard Rible Jr.; and his precious grandchildren, Robby De Petro III, Charlotte De Petro, Andrew De Petro, Evelyn De Petro, Victoria Lauren Paccione, Carter Paccione, Tobias Paccione and others whose lives Robert touched.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation 5 - 8 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Organization, act.alz.org, 225 North Michigan Avenue Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
