Edward E. “Uncle” Jacko, 89 of Brielle passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Edward was a naval veteran of the Korean Conflict serving on the Air Craft Carrier USS Tarawa (CVA-40). After his military service he worked as a cabinet maker. He later was employed by Lee Battery Service for which he worked at over 25 years retiring in 2006 as Vice President of Sales as well as graphic artist for the company. In his spare time Edward loved working in his basement shop on various projects, puzzles etc. which he would display around the house as well as give as gifts. He also loved to draw, work in the garden, play pool with his family during visits at his home and help his nieces and nephews with school projects. Through the years Edward and his wife Eleanor loved taking day trips throughout the tri-state area. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them so very much.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Eleanor of Brielle. He is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Gayle Lee; his two nieces and one nephew, Jennefer Lee, Laura Di Pasquale and her husband Paul and John Lee Jr. and his wife Susan as well as several great nieces and nephews and great- great niece and nephews .
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
