Henry Machos, 69 of Brick passed away on Saturday October 12, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. Henry was born in Elizabeth and raised in Roselle Park, NJ where he graduated from Roselle Park High School. After high school Henry worked as an auto mechanic with his father at S&H Auto. Eventually Henry owned the business before he became the owner and operator of a Texaco Gas Station in Elizabeth. After he sold the gas station, Henry worked for the Garden State Parkway Authority as an auto mechanic for 10 years before retiring four years ago. Henry was an avid fisherman, loved antique cars and working around his backyard. He loved spending time with his family especially with his granddaughter Rayn.

Henry was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Theresa “Daisy” Machos; a brother Stanley Machos and a sister Theresa Vander Heiden. He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years Alice (nee Sarzillo) Machos and a loving daughter and son-in-law Toni and Joel Suarez and his cherished grand-daughter Rayn all of Brick. He is also survived by a beloved sister Judy Bernstein of Lakewood; a sister-in-law and her husband Ann Marie and Sherwood Phillips of Brick and a brother-in-law Joseph Sarzillo of Carteret; four nephews Robert, Joe, Brian and Kevin; two nieces Alexander and Samantha.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Church of the Epiphany, Brick. Interment will follow at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
