Michael Barchi, 53 of Bradley Beach passed away suddenly on Monday, January 13th. Michael was born and raised in Neptune and graduated from Neptune High School. After high school Michael worked in the construction industry doing home improvements. He was also a ground crew member at Lakewood Airport for the banner planes. Michael became a certified airplane mechanic and continued working at the airport as a mechanic. He was an avid NY Yankees, NY Giants and NY Rangers fan. In Michael’s giving spirit Michael was able to donate his organs to NJ Sharing Network to help others have a better quality of life.

Michael was predeceased by his father Frank Barchi in 2012. He is survived by his beloved mother Shirley Ayres of Bradley Beach; two loving sisters Barbara Barchi of Toms River and Patti Villone and her husband Vinny of Brick; a loving brother Frank Barchi and his wife Serena of IN; his cherished niece and nephew Scott and Taylor; a beloved uncle and godfather Richard Barchi and his beloved Aunt Carol Evanisko and cousins in Florida. Michael also leaves behind a host of friends at Lakewood Airport.
