I was saddened to read of Eugene's passing. He was one of my mother's favorite people. Just recently I found photos from my 50th birthday party of you, Eugene and Margie enjoying the festivities. May you find peace and comfort in all the wonderful memories of a live well-lived.

Arlene and I think of you often. We will remember Eugene in our prayers and may he and Margie meet again.

With love and sympathy, Betty Ann

I became a fireman Hoboken in 1978 and worked alongside Gene for many years in some busy times. I looked forward to being detailed to Engine 4 with he and his partner Joe Kennedy. You couldn’t ask for two nicer fellows or two better firefighters to spend time with . He was a true gentleman and I enjoyed our conversations, gaining much insight and perspective from his wisdom and experiences. Only pleasant memories of this man. It was an honor to call him a well Gene.
