Richard F. Fass, 77 of Manasquan passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Rich was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Upon graduation from high school Rich entered the United State Coast Guard Reserves. He worked for over 30 years in the tele-communications field as a technician. Rich worked for various companies including Lucent and Tyco throughout his career retiring in 2002. He was an active member of the Manasquan Elks Lodge 2534 for 42 years, life member and past trustee. Rich loved being in the water either on his boat “Soaken Wet” or just fishing.

Richard was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Helen Fass and his first wife Joanna Fass. He is survived by his wife loving Margaret (nee Stadler) Fass; his loving daughters and their spouses Laura and Mike Galos of Wall and Robyn and Robert Barber of Browns Mills. He was the cherished grandfather to Kayla Barber, Michael Galos, Matthew Galos, Kylie Barber, Courtney Galos and Kianna Barber. Rich is also survived by a sister Elaine Bausch and her husband Larry of Allentown, PA, and his “sister-in-law” Margaret Barbour.
