Kenneth Robert Kleinlein, 60 of Brick passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Meridian Nursing and Rehab at Brick. Ken was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. He was a graduate of Madison High School, Brooklyn. After high school Ken was a special education teacher in physical education in Queens, NY, and worked as a counselor for special needs children for nine summers at Camo LeeMar, Pennsylvania. He worked as a security guard while the Jacob Javits Center was being built. After that he became a truck operator for a waste management company for several years. In 1996 Ken and his family moved to the Jersey Shore area. Ken then became a salesman for MortonTruck Company in Howell until 2013 when he had to stop working due to his illness. Ken was a communicant of St Denis Church, Manasquan and was a very active member. He was a huge sports fan, enjoyed bowling, collecting all types of baseball hats and was an avid NY Yankees and NY Jets fan.

Ken was predeceased by his mother Geraldine Kleinlein. He is survived by his loving father Kenneth Kleinlein of Florida, his beloved daughter Eva Kleinlein and her mother Linda Mack of Line Lexington, PA. Ken is also survived by a sister Kristine Kalinowski of Florida, two nieces Emily and Ashley Kalinowski and two nephews Matthew and Joseph Kalinowski, who Ken was very proud of for their service in the US Navy.
Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at St Denis Church, Manasquan. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
