Frances Kubu Campbell, 92 of Manasquan, passed away on December 27, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born in Linden, New Jersey on May 20, 1928 to Jerry and Eva Kubu. She graduated from Batton High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1946. The summer after graduation while working on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore, Fran met her future husband, Robert Campbell. The couple married in 1950 and settled in Kearny, New Jersey to raise their family. Fran was widowed early and left to raise her three children on her own. With fierce determination, unending devotion and a lot of grit, Fran was a mother second to none.

Fran relocated to Manasquan, New Jersey in 1980 to be near extended family. She loved the beach where she would sit and read and watch her grandchildren ride the waves. Fran retired as an officer from Fidelity Union Trust company in January of 1994. She had a long-distinguished career at the bank. She was a beloved employee and friendly to everyone. Fran loved to host a party, and everyone was always welcome. She was generous, and kind to everyone. After retirement Fran, spent a lot of time sitting on her porch reading and keeping the neighborhood in check. She loved her porch, and many good times were had by everyone that came to pull up a chair. Fran loved flowers and gardening. She was always planting and replanting and shopping for new flowers. Fran also had a great love of animals, especially dogs. All dogs were welcomed to come and visit or stay for a snooze on the couch.

Fran was predeceased by her husband, Robert Campbell and her grandson, Justin Campbell. Fran is survived by her three children, two sons, Robert Campbell (Janet), Richard Campbell (Kathy), and daughter, Jacqueline Calandriello (Wayne). Six grandchildren Ryan, Tara, Brian, Lauren, Scott and Sean and 5 great grandchildren.

Dear Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I was Frances' roommate the late evening of Dec. 16th. She kept calling for Rebecca and to push her up. I was a little scared because i didn't know who Rebecca was, but it was me! She was well taken care, kept dry, clean and fed. Grace and Fonz truly loved her as their own. Grace would put Christmas music on in the morning and they would sing Bing Crosby White Christmas and Silent Night which was the last song she sang. It brought such joy to my heart to hear Fran belt out the words! She would also say all day how pretty her flowers were. And although she didn't say much with the video call, she was so happy to see you all. I was very fortunate to be with her, to help her up and prop pillows around her, tuck her covers up around her shoulders and made sure she had her oxygen under her nose. She was such a sweet woman and I can still see her smile :)) PEACE be with you..... Sincerely, Kelly Butler XOXOX 10 Denise Ct. Tinton Falls, NJ 07753,
