Alice C. Bramhall (Bangert) 77, formerly of Manasquan, NJ, died on February 3, 2021 at home in Dover, Delaware with her loving husband of 43 years, David Bramhall, and family at her side. Alice was born in Neptune, NJ, July 26, 1943, to Adeline (Todd) and Walter Bangert. She went through the Neptune school system to High School and eventually attended College in North Carolina for a short period. She was a Nurse's aide with her Mother at Fitkin Hospital, now Jersey Shore Medical Center. She Married Keith Vreeland Sr. in 1962 and had 3 children, Pamela, Keith Jr. and Todd. In 1977 she Married David H. Bramhall of Avon by the Sea, and together they opened the Villa Park House, Bed and Breakfast, Spring Lake, in 1978. Alice managed the business for over 25 years, and served the community of Spring Lake and Manasquan for many more years. She and David were members of the Presbyterian Church of Manasquan. Alice was a member of the PW of the church and very active. Alice was also a previous member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Wall Township with her mother, for many years.
Alice and David relocated to Dover Delaware in 2007 and purchased a 10-acre farm. There she actively quilted, sewed, gardened, pastured and watered up to 20 cows at a time and had chickens for a brief period on their farm. Alice lived in the middle of a large Amish Community and helped the Amish for many years, until she was unable to drive.
Alice is predeceased by her brother, Walter Bangert (Peggy) and her Parents Adeline (Todd) and Walter Bangert and her first husband Keith Vreeland Sr. She is survived by her husband David H. Bramhall, Dover DE, daughter Pamela Vreeland, Northvale NJ, son Keith Vreeland Jr. (Anna), Tuckerton NJ, son Todd Vreeland (Jeannean) Manasquan NJ, Stepson Dean Bramhall, Dover Delaware, step-son Dale Bramhall, Wall Township NJ, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She also is survived by many cousins and extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 4 - 8 pm at Orender Family Hone for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at The First Presbyterian Church Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, Presbyterian Women, 16 Virginia Avenue, Manasquan NJ 08736.
