Virginia “Ginny” Auxier, 74, passed away at her home in Wall Twp, on 2/11/21 with her loving family at her side. Ginny was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in her early childhood years in Manhattan, NYC, NY before her family moved to the Jersey Shore. Over the years she lived in the shore towns of Belmar, Asbury Park and lastly remained a Wall Twp resident for 56 years.

Ginny met and married her beloved husband and partner in life Jim in 1964. They shared a unique and steadfast love in their marriage of 54 years. Ginny was a licensed beautician and worked that craft until stepping into the role of her dreams as a mother to her two children. Ginny was a free spirit and lover of life. She lived a simple life and loved a bargain. After raising her children she took her exceptional knowledge of vintage items and spent all of her time as an antique dealer and flea market aficionado. It gave her great joy. She was known by many in that circuit and could be found every weekend at Collingswood auction. As a person that valued family most she also took pride in her role as nanny and caregiver to her sole grandchild, Ciara.

Ginny was predeceased by her adoring husband of 54 years, James Auxier, of Wall, NJ her parents Claire and Tudor Morris, of NYC, NY and her sister Lorraine Morris, of NYC, NY. She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law Nicole and Rich Berardi, of Spring Lake Heights, her loving son James Paul Auxier, of Edmeston, New York, her brother Gerard “Gary” Morris, of Millstone, and her cherished granddaughter Ciara Berardi, of Spring Lake Heights, NJ.

To Jimmy and Nicole-

Our heartfelt condolences to you from the Tormey family on the loss of your Mom. She was a lovely, kind, and gracious lady. We have such happy, warm memories of many summer afternoons in your pool, thanks to your Mom's generous invitations. Cathy and I spent many nights babysitting the both of you, so we got to know your parents very well. Our neighborhood was made all the more special thanks to your parents. You and your parents are part of our joyful childhood memories that we will cherish forever.

With our love and prayers at this difficult time,
Beth Tormey and the Tormey family

Diane, Amy and Beth send our heartfelt sympathies to you, Nicole, Rich and Ciara. All of the memories I have of your mom were of her smiling or laughing.... or off on a hunt for the perfect antique. She was one sweet lady.
We are making a donation to Meridian Hospice in her name... Sending our love and hugs to each of you. Diane
