Martin R. Waltsak, 78 of Manasquan passed away on Saturday March 20, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Marty was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Manasquan. He was a graduate of Wall Township High School. After high school Marty worked for his family business doing a craft that he loved, carpentry. Marty eventually started his over 40-year career as a serviceman for New Jersey Natural Gas. Once retired Marty was able to enjoy the outdoors hunting, fishing, working in his yard and doing carpentry. Marty was a people person, who loved to talk to anyone and everyone. You could say he had the gift of gab.
Marty was predeceased by his parents William and Regina Waltsak; his first wife Jeannie Waltsak, and 9 of his siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife Anne (nee Dropchinski) Waltsak of Manasquan, his three loving children Kelly Gero and her husband William of Wall, Martin Waltsak and his partner Ivan Luna of Long Beach, CA and Colleen Jacobs and her husband Michael of Brick; four loving step-children TJ Reichey and his wife Teresa of Manasquan, Sherry Reichey of Wall, Kristin Reichey of Manasquan and Leah Quinn and her husband Bobby of Manasquan. Marty was the cherished grandfather to three grandchildren Jeannie, Brian and Abbey and 9 step grandchildren Connor, Declan, Paige, Noah, Sofia, River, Jack, Kellan, and Charlotte.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation On Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Thursday,March 25, 2021 at St Denis Church, Manasquan. Interment to follow at Atlantic View Cemetery Manasquan.
