Paul Baratelli, 79 of Neptune and formerly longtime resident of Wall Township, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick with his loving family by his side. Paul was born in Jersey City and raised in Jersey City and Union City. He was a graduate of Holy Family High School. Union City H, Fordham University and received his master’s degree from Rutgers. Paul was proud of being a teacher at Holy Family in Union City and St. Michael’s in Jersey City. After receiving his masters Paul began his 35-year career as an engineer for AT&T retiring in 2007. Paul enjoyed photography, welding, and art. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Fortunato and Ann Baratelli, and his beloved wife of 39 years Tina (nee Scalone) Baratelli in 2007. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Frances (nee Ford) Baratelli of Neptune. Paul is survived by his children, Paul John Baratelli of Jackson, NJ, John Paul Baratelli and his wife Stephanie of San Diego, CA, Maria Anderson and her husband Mark, Joseph Baratelli and his wife Kim. Paul is also survived by Mary's children, Bill and Erin Reynolds, Jennifer and Brian Havens, and Samuel Gill. Paul was the cherished grandfather to Antonio Baratelli, Dominic Baratelli, Tina Baratelli, Henry Baratelli, Austin Havens, Olivia Havens, Brooke Havens, Ava Reynolds, and Billy Reynolds.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 5-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Church of St. Rose, Belmar.
