Ernest F. DeSordi

Ernest F. DeSordi, 90 of Manahawkin passed away peacefully at Hackensack Meridian Health Hospice, Southern Ocean County Hospital, NJ on March 23, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Ernest was born in Ashland, Massachusetts and raised in Newark, NJ. He was a tool and die maker. Upon his retirement, Ernest and his late wife Dolores moved to Florida where they spent 18 years enjoying the Sunshine State before moving back to New Jersey to be closer to family. Ernest enjoyed traveling with his wife and was an active member and officer of the Friendship Club in Florida. Ernest was enlisted in the US Navy.

Ernest was predeceased by his wife Dolores, his parents Anthony and Maria DeSordi, his brothers, Angelo and Raymond and his sisters Annie Pascucci and Regina Iuso. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Patrick Rosamilia of Barnegat, NJ; Gina and William D’Annunzio of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Nancy and Phillip Laplante of Easton, MD. Ernest is also survived by his brothers, Frank and Norman and sister Lorraine Caporaso. He was also the cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren Danielle and Joseph Lux, Matthew D’Annunzio, Dianna and Michael Sperber, Mark D’Annunzio, Christopher Laplante, Charlotte Laplante and Luke Biersmith; a great-grandson Benjamin Sperber.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, March 29th from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm with a service at 12:30 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. Entombment will be at a later time at Garden of Memories, Washington Township, NJ.
