Joseph W. Laughery, Jr., 59 of Manchester passed away on Friday March 26, 2021 at Powerback Rehab, Moorestown, NJ. Joseph was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He was a graduate of Academic High School, Jersey City and received a full scholarship to Traphagan School of Fashion. He worked at his passion as a fashion designer for over 25 years. Joseph loved his time living in Hoboken, NJ, enjoyed reading, cherished every moment spent with family, and his numerous trips to New York City with his nieces and nephews.
Joseph was predeceased by his father Joseph W. Laughery, Sr. He is survived by his beloved mother Kathleen (Goodheart) Laughery of Manchester, NJ, his loving sister and brother-in-law Carroll Laughery and her husband Thomas Maloney of Lake Como. Joseph is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and treasured cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at St Rose Church, Belmar. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to TTTSfoundation.org.
