Elizabeth T. Brattlof of Sea Girt, passed away on March 27, 2021, at home in hospice care with her family by her side. She was 88 years young.
Betty was born in East Orange and lived in the Oranges before moving to Sea Girt 60 years ago. She graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School and attended Seton Hall University. Betty’s strength was in her ability to do many things from gardening, painting, wall-papering, running the household, and keeping track of many children. Every weekend, she entertained for family who came “down the shore”. Betty is remembered for her tireless work every Christmas decorating the Spring Lake Golf Club for their holiday season. She is fondly remembered for her sense of humor and dedication to church. As a daily mass goer, Betty had a strong and profound faith and asked that anyone who wishes to pay their condolences to attend a service at their own church.
